Terms of service

1. Who we are

The Companion Series ("we," "us") publishes educational materials. These terms govern your purchase and use of anything you buy from us. By placing an order you agree to them.

Contact: hello@the90daycompanion.com

2. What you are buying

Digital educational publications delivered as PDF files. You are buying a licence to read and use them personally — not the copyright, and not the right to redistribute.

There is no physical product, no subscription, and no recurring charge. Every purchase is a one-time payment.

3. Your licence, and its limits

You may: read the files on any device you own, print them for your own use, fill in the trackers and worksheets, and show them to your clinician, dietitian, or trainer.

You may not: resell them, share the files publicly or privately with people who have not purchased them, upload them to file-sharing sites or group drives, reproduce substantial portions in other works, or use them to train machine-learning models.

Each delivered file is personalised with the purchaser's email address and order number on every page. That is the deterrent, and it is also how we identify the source of any copy that ends up somewhere it shouldn't. The files are not encrypted and carry no password — we chose a visible licence line over technical restrictions deliberately, because passwords mostly punish legitimate buyers.

4. Delivery

Files are delivered by email immediately after payment clears, through a download page linked from your order confirmation. Download links are personal to your order and refresh whenever you revisit that page.

If your delivery email doesn't arrive, check spam first, then write to hello@the90daycompanion.com. Delivery problems are fixed the same day.

5. Refunds

Thirty days, in full, no hoops. See our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Because the files are digital there is nothing to return; refunded materials remain in your possession, and we ask only that they not be shared or redistributed.

6. Educational use only — this is important

Our materials are educational. They are not medical advice.

They do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, they are not a substitute for care from a qualified clinician who knows your history, and they contain no dosing guidance of any kind — no doses, no schedules, no titration, no tapering. Decisions about your medication belong exclusively to the clinician who prescribed it.

Nutrition and exercise content reproduces published general guidance from professional bodies. It is not a personalised prescription. Confirm what applies to you with a qualified clinician or registered dietitian — particularly with kidney or liver disease, diabetes, a cardiac condition, a history of disordered eating, or any mobility limitation.

Clinical trial results we describe are averages from studied populations. They are not predictions about you and not promises of any outcome.

If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911. For thoughts of self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US). For eating-disorder support, the National Alliance for Eating Disorders helpline is 1-866-662-1235.

Nothing here creates a doctor–patient, dietitian–client, or any other professional relationship.

7. No affiliation

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or compensated by any pharmaceutical company, telehealth service, compounding pharmacy, supplement manufacturer, or medical device company. We sell no medications and provide no prescriptions, and we accept no advertising, affiliate commission, or sponsorship from any of the above.

Trademarked medication names, where they appear in our materials, belong to their respective owners and are used only nominatively, to describe those medications for educational purposes.

8. Accuracy and updates

We take accuracy seriously and cite our sources. This field moves quickly, and guidance, labelling, and trial evidence change. Materials reflect our understanding at the time of writing and may not reflect the most recent developments. We may update them without notice.

9. Your responsibility

By using our materials you agree that decisions about your health are yours and your clinician's. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Companion Series is not liable for any loss or harm arising from actions taken or not taken on the basis of educational content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, interfere with the site, or use it unlawfully. We may refuse service or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published at the time of your purchase.
